After Tikhedhunga, you will climb around 3,000 stone stairs to reach Ulleri. This part of the trail is considered tough by the trekkers. From Ulleri, you will hike to Ghorepani village.

From Chhomrong, you will first descend to Chhomrong Khola and cross it. The trail then ascends to Lower Sinuwa, and you will walk to Upper Sinuwa. It is a famous resting point on the way to ABC.

You will trek through dense forest and enter the Annapurna Sanctuary. The trail passes by Hinu Cave and takes you to Deurali. From here, you will trek along a narrow, rocky trail to Machhapuchare Base Camp.
From here, you will ascend a couple of hundred meters to Annapurna Base Camp.
The return journey:
After spending a night at the Annapurna Base Camp, you will follow the same trail and descend to Bamboo. Leaving Bamboo, you will walk downhill to Sinuwa and descend to the Chhomrong River. Cross the river and ascend to Chhomrong village.
From here, you will walk through the rhododendron forest to Khuldighar and descend to Jhinu Danda. The Annapurna Base Camp with Ghorepani Poon Hill trek ends in Jhinu Danda. From here, you will drive back to Pokhara.
