7-Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek Route Description

Your Himalayan trekking to Annapurna Base Camp starts with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kilyu . 

The day will take you  through the terraced fields and Gurung villages to charming Ghandruk, where stunning views of Annapurna South and Machapuchhare are  waiting for you. . 

You will go down into the valley and climb through lush rhododendron where everything looks peak beauty . Here you can explore  the old  oak forests to Sinuwa, the entry point to the upper sanctuary.

Then  you cross several suspension bridges and bamboo groves past Dovan towards the rough alpine setting of Deurali.

The highlight arrives on Day 4 as you trek through a dramatic amphitheater of peaks via Machhapuchhre Base Camp to reach sacred Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m).

Here you will see surrounding peaks of towering 8,000m everywhere.

Now, after you reach Annapurna Base Camp  you descent back through the valley forests towards the peaceful Bamboo.

Then you will continue to move downhill through the stonecases and subtropical woods to Jhinu Danda. The major highlight here is the natural hot springs that will offer you the perfect relaxation spot by the river.

Lastly, on the final day of your adventurous journey, you will take a short walk for the drive back to Pokhara which feels like a wrapup with creating unforgettable memories of the Annapurna Sanctuary.
