Helambu Circuit Trek is a 10-day long package that takes you through adventure of Sherpa Villages located north east of Kathmandu Valley.
Helambu Circuit Trek initiates from Sundarijal as Sundarijal is located near to Kathmandu. The track then escalates across Shivpuri ridge from where we can get sweeping views of the Central Himalayas. We will climb further to Langtang National Park where diverse species of rare wild flowers and animals can be spotted.
Trekking Helambu Circuit passes through beautiful Tamang villages of Chisapani and Sermathang where we can pay visit to ever smiling locals and know their culture and lifestyle. Later we will refresh ourselves in Melamchi Khola before driving back to Kathmandu from Melamchi Bazaar. Thus Helambu Circuit Trek is a perfect package which aptly combines adventure with culture.
Helambu Circuit Trek is a moderately strenuous trek which can be taken by anyone who loves trekking. No prior trekking experience is necessary for this trek. Moreover, Helambu Circuit Trek route is less crowded and as it is nearer to Kathmandu valley, makes it easily accessible. So, Helambu Circuit Trek is popular route among both domestic and foreign trekkers.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 
You will find our representatives there at the Tribhuvan International Airport, ready to greet you when you land in at the International Airport of Kathmandu. They will receive you with your name and take you to the hotel where you will be briefly explained about the itinerary package.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
On the second day, you will be taken out for an excursion to some of the chief sites in and around Kathmandu. Visits include temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Bauddhanath and Durbar squares of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur.
Day 03: Drive to Sundarijal, Trek to Chisapani

Sundarijal lies about an hour’s drive far from Kathmandu and serves as the initial point for trekking. The trail escalates up through Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve and continues to heighten up the hill through the woods and passes through Mulkharka- a Tamang Village. The route continues to rise upward through the forest and then goes downhill to Chisapani (2140m). We will be staying overnight in the lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Gul Bhanjyang 
Today the trail escalates through pine thickets before arriving to Pati Bhanjyang which is a small charming village. After a brief rest at Gul Bhanjyang, we will follow the trail downward the hill through small Chortens, fields and forests to make it to Gul Bhanjyang (2140m). We will stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Tharepati 
This day, we will follow the trail which climbs steadily upward through oak and pine forest. We will then follow a ridge line and continue through the sparsely populated forests to Magin on Goth from where the route rises steeply through dense pine forest before passing through huts and Chortens before finally reaching to Tharepati.

Day 06: Trek to Melamchi Gaon 
This day we will lower down through a steep mixed forest of spruce and rhododendron which is rich in birdlife to finally arrive to Melamchi Gaon. We can hear the roaring of Melamchi Khola which is located below Melamchi Gaon. We will stay here overnight.

Day 07: Trek to Tarkegyang
The trail for this day descends steeply to the valley floor before hitting Melamchi Khola where you can take a well deserved swim in the crystal clear river before completing the short and smooth ascent to Tarkegyang which is located to the other side of the valley. A 18th century Gompa with huge prayer wheel of brass exists in Tarkegyang.

Day 08: Trek to Sermathang
Today we will walk mostly through plain land to reach Sermathang- a Sherpa village. Sermathang offers splendid views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Rolwaling, Gosainkunda and Everest on a clear day.

Day 09: Trek to Melamchi, Drive to Kathmandu
We will follow the trail back to Melamchi from where we will drive back to Kathmandu. Melamchi is located around 59 km far from the capital city of Kathmandu and it takes around two hours of driving to make it back to Kathmandu. We will return to our hotel and take rest for the rest of the night. \

Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu 
On the last day of the itinerary, you will return back to your country by boarding a flight from the International Airport in Kathmandu. You will be dropped until the Airport by our representatives. We hope to see you again and have safe journey!!!
